I think our downtown area is a great attraction to both visitors and existing residents for shopping and restaurants to enjoy with both family and friends. I enjoy serving on a board that shares a common love for our community and one that is working towards enhancing our downtown area. My hope is that we can potentially attract new businesses while improving on what we already have established here.”

    Phillip Truitt

Truitt Law Offices, Personal Injury Attorney

“I was born and raised in Huntington, after living many other places for school and work I came to realize how awesome of a community Huntington is. As soon as I was able I returned to my home and expanded our family business here and although we serve the whole state, we continue investing in our community by running all operations out of this great town. Each Time we have new staff start from out of the area, I like to take them down Jefferson Street right through the mall, everytime, I get the same reaction, "wow this is beautiful!" In my opinion downtown Huntington is a hidden gem that has been our little secret for years and it's exciting to be a part of the leadership involved in showing the rest of the world how great our Main Street can be."

  • Courtney Bonbrake

“Being part of Huntington Main Street is important for me because the growth, vibrancy, and sense of community downtown is important for our future. I believe in supporting small businesses and creating a welcoming space for everyone. I'm excited to see where downtown Huntington will go with our collaborative efforts with local business owners, government officials, and the community.  It’s an honor to contribute to efforts that make Huntington a place where people want to live, work, and visit.”
