Sharon moved to the Huntington community in 2006 to attend Huntington University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies. Sharon and her husband, Kyle, chose to stay in Huntington following her graduation and have been raising their family and investing in the community ever since!

Sharon comes with 8+ years of nonprofit administration, including the establishment of a local nonprofit, Place of Grace. Sharon also brings 4 years as a small business owner in Downtown Huntington. This combined experience provides the needed knowledge, skills, and passion to move Huntington Main Street forward.

"The success of Downtown Huntington has been a passion of mine for a long time, even before we opened our bakery. This is often the place we bring our family to eat and shop and a place we love to share with visitors from out of town. It's easy to point out the flaws and complain, but that's not my style. I see how hard the people of Downtown Huntington are working to help it reach its full potential and I want to remain a part of that momentum. I believe with the right resources and focused direction, this central part of our community will become a vibrant space that is unique to Huntington and welcoming to all."
